Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our internship program

Is this internship paid?

Yes, all our internships include a monthly stipend. Top performers may also receive performance-based bonuses. While the stipend is modest, the real value comes from the professional experience, portfolio pieces, and networking opportunities.

What are the application requirements?

Applicants should have basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and submit a portfolio with 3-5 design samples. This can include student work, personal projects, or freelance work. Strong candidates demonstrate creativity, willingness to learn, and basic design fundamentals.

Can I do this internship while in school?

Yes! Many of our interns balance the program with their studies. The 20-30 hour weekly commitment is flexible, with core hours for meetings and reviews. We offer both full-time (summer) and part-time (academic year) options to accommodate different schedules.

What percentage of interns receive job offers?

Approximately 65% of our interns receive job offers either from Nexsofture or through our partner network. Even those who don't receive immediate offers leave with a strong portfolio and references that significantly improve their job prospects.

Is remote participation available?

We offer hybrid options with both remote and in-person components. Certain activities like client presentations may require in-person attendance (or video calls for remote participants). All interns receive the same level of mentorship and project opportunities regardless of location.

What kind of support is provided after the internship?

Our support continues beyond the internship period. Alumni receive portfolio reviews, job search assistance, and access to our design community. We also host annual alumni events and maintain an active job board exclusive to program graduates.
